Righty-oh so Jen and I went to Aunty’s house a few weeks ago for (the most amazing) dinner. I mean… there are no words. This lady inspires me. I want the cooking part of her brain. (Also she’s like the nicest person!) Anywho, so cooking genius aunt brings us out some dippedy dips for starters and they were rather wonderful and since she shared the recipe with me, I thought I would share with ye! She served these with cucumber, celery, carrots, peppers and tortilla chips, but anything goes in dipworld!
Cream Cheese Dip
1 tbsp cream 1tbsp mayonnaise 1tbsp grated onion 1 tbsp Worcester sauce 1/2 tbsp salt Cream cheese (I used about 3/4 of a pack of Philadelphia last time)Mix all together with spoon and dip away!
Cashew Dip
2 handfuls of cashew nuts 3tbsp water 1/4 tsp Vegetable BouillonPut all in a blender and whizz around til nice and smooth. You may need to add some more water. This is one you really dig into. Its absolutely lovely though, so tasty!
Nice and simple but they are really lovely. Enjoooooyyyyy!
P.S. Wish Banana (Hannah) luck tonight!
